State playing decisive role in creating broadband internet market
Given the conditions when the broadband Internet market is still in the phase of formation, it is the state that has to ensure the creation of the necessary elements for an appropriate functioning of this market. Evolution of electronic communications market in I quarter of 2009
In the first quarter of 2009 the total sales volume on fixed, mobile and Internet markets came up to 1 billion 204,8 million lei. Mobile telephony market had the highest turnover - 621,1 million lei, as shown in the data on market evolution, collected by the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI).

ANRCETI proceeding to public consultations on draft methodology of interconnection and access costs calculation
Today, the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI – www.anrceti.md) has placed on its official Web site, for public consultations, the draft Methodology of FL-LRAIC-based calculation of costs for interconnection and access services. In order to be able to create the Public Register of Electronic Communications Networks and Service Providers and keep it updated, The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI – www.anrceti.md) is inviting all holders of general and technical licenses in telecommunications and informatics, issued before June 10, 2008 that are currently operating on the electronic communications market and intend to do so further, to comply with the general authorization procedure, as set forth the Law on Electronic Communications no. 241-XVI of November 15, 2007.
