Monitoring the market evolution represents the total of the actions, undertaken by the corresponding departments within ANRCETI, which consist in collection and complex analysis (systematic and/or periodic) of information about the activities carried out in the areas of competence, in the framework of the requirements established by the relevant legislation in force.

Thus, monitoring also involves obtaining from the economic entities (providers) operating within ANRCETI areas of competence, of the necessary information, including statistical data, copies, excerpts from documents, ensuring, as approrpiate, their confidentiality, especially for:

- case-by-case verification of compliance with the legislation in force (including general authorization conditions, license conditions and other regulatory acts);
- drafting reports on market evolution (quarterly and annual statistical reports);
- regular or case-by-case verification of compliance with the condition on payment of regulatory and monitoring fees;
- case-by-case verification of compliance with the normative acts where a petition is submitted;
- performing market analysis.
