ANRCETI LAUNCHES AN INVITATION TO AUDIT COMPANIES

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) is pleased to invite, before January 15, 2009, expressions of interest from audit companies, interested in performing financial audit of ANRCETI budget administration for 2008.

Invitation to Public Hearings

As requested by a number of electronic communications networks and service providers, the Agency is going to summon the final public hearings session to discuss the Draft Regulations on Interconnection and Access. The session is planned for Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 14.00, at ANRCETI office, 5th floor, Conference room (134 Stefan cel Mare, bd.).

ANRCETI will soon benefit from technical assistance funded by EBRD

In spring 2009, the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) is expected to benefit from a technical assistance project - „Development of Communications Regulation” – financed by EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development). The project is estimated at about 898,3 thousand euro, and is expected to last approximately for 2 years.

ANRCETI Established Regulatory Fee Quantum for 2009

ANRCETI Administrative Board established the regulatory fee quantum for 2009 - 0,15 % of the revenue generated by activities in electronic communications, run by providers of electronic communications networks and services.

ANRCETI has approved new regulations on dispute resolution in electronic communications

The users of electronic communications services who consider their rights have been violated by service providers are expected to address to the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) for dispute resolution. This is a clause from the new Regulations on Dispute Resolution in Electronic Communications, approved by ANRCETI Administrative Board and published in the Official Gazette on October 28, 2008.

New rules for technical permit issuance to authorise use of radio communications stations

The Instruction on Technical Permit Issuance to Authorize Use of Radio Communications stations has come into effect today, October 28. The document sets forth the new rules governing the activity in this area. It was drafted and approved pursuant to the Law On Electronic Communications, after being duly coordinated with the Ministry of Information Development, by the National regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI).
