The primary objective was to identify and evaluate potential support that could significantly contribute to the country's advancements in the digital sphere. The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) approved the following Board Decisions during the public session:
1. Decision regarding the limitation of the number of licenses for the use of radio frequencies/channels in the frequency band [2100 MHz] for the provision of terrestrial cell mobile electronic communications networks and services.

ANRCETI TAKES OVER EAPEREG CHAIRMANSHIP IN 2024

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) took over the chairmanship of EaPeReg (Eastern Partnership Electronic Communications Regulators’ Network) in 2024, while the National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications of Romania (ANCOM) will hold the position of EaPeReg vice-Chair. The event took place during the 22nd EaPeReg Plenary Meeting, held on November 29 in Tbilisi, Georgia. ANRCETI team delegated to EaPeReg Plenary was led by Sergiu Gaibu, Director.
