National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology of the Republic of Moldova

On January 22, a World Bank delegation visited ANRCETI to engage in discussions with the regulator. The primary objective was to identify and evaluate potential support that could significantly contribute to the country's advancements in the digital sphere. Michel Rogy, Project Manager, led the World Bank delegation. ANRCETI was privileged to host a dedicated and experienced team specializing in digital development.

Throughout the meeting, the two parties discussed potential technical assistance opportunities, focusing on ways to enhance the resilience and coverage of the country's broadband and data communications infrastructure. Discussions also covered cybersecurity aspects of critical communication infrastructure, along with exploring the funding solutions for the implementation of 5G technology in the Republic of Moldova.

Concluding the meeting, both parties identified tools for further cooperation, emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation to foster innovation and facilitate digital transformation for the benefit of citizens and the national economy.
