On February 27th, Sergiu Gaibu, Director of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI), had a bilateral meeting with his Estonian counterpart, Kristi Talving, Director of the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (CPTRA) from Estonia. ANRCETI LAUNCHED PROCESS OF ALLOCATING NEW RADIO FREQUENCY BANDS TO MOBILE ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS OPERATORS

Within the framework of implementing the Spectrum Management Program for 2021-2025, ANRCETI took the necessary steps to make additional radio frequency bands available to electronic communications operators to expand customer service capacities, including frequencies used for the deployment of new generations of mobile electronic communications technologies, such as 5G.

PUBLIC CONSULTATION OF DRAFT ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD DECISION

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) announces public consultation on the draft Decision regarding the limitation of the number of licenses for the use of radio frequencies in 700 MHz, E900 MHz, 1500 MHz, 2300 MHz, 2600 MHz, 3600 MHz, and 26 GHz bands, for the provision of publicly available terrestrial mobile/fixed electronic communications networks and services.

The public consultation will last through March 11, 2024, which is the deadline for submitting recommendations on the mentioned draft.
