SUBJECTS OF MUTUAL INTEREST DISCUSSED DURING A BILATERAL MEETING BETWEEN HEADS OF ANRCETI AND CPTRA FROM ESTONIA
On February 27th, Sergiu Gaibu, Director of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI), had a bilateral meeting with his Estonian counterpart, Kristi Talving, Director of the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (CPTRA) from Estonia. The meeting took place during the Mobile World Congress (MWC), held this week in Barcelona, Spain.
The meeting agenda focused on discussions regarding topics of mutual interest between the two authorities, particularly the reduction of roaming tariffs and potential areas of cooperation.
During the meeting, Kristi Talving stated that operators in Estonia had already proceeded with the process of reducing tariffs for roaming services. Additionally, the Estonian delegation expressed their support for ANRCETI's accession process to BEREC, as well as for the implementation of European policies regarding the regulation of relevant sectors.
