This week, the leadership of the National Agency for Regulation in Electronic Communications (ANRCETI) and the National Bureau of Statistics (BNS) had a meeting aimed at enhancing mutual cooperation. The meeting addressed common interests between the two authorities.
During the meeting, the parties reached an agreement to reinforce cooperation particularly on statistical data collection and processing, by sharing best practices and exchanging experience. The discussions also covered the alignment processes with European Union regulations and the practical implementation of legal norms in the treatment of statistical data.
Considering the Population Census scheduled for 2024, the parties discussed the potential support of ANRCETI in facilitating public awareness of the stages of the 2024 Population Census.
