The Administrative Board of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI - www.anrceti.md) is announcing a public session to review and approve one draft decisions on implementing the access to national short numbers of range “1” and two decisions for amending previous Administrative Board Decisions on establishing the quality parameters for public mobile telephony services and approval of the standard form to ensure these parameters (docs in state language). The session is scheduled for Thursday, June 23, 14.00, at ANRCETI office, 5th floor, Conference Room.

The Administrative Board of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI - www.anrceti.md) is announcing, a public session to review and approve the draft decisions on designation of JSC „Moldtelecom” as a providers with significant market power on two wholesale markets: the market for call origination at fixed locations in the public telephone network and the market for traffic transit (docs in state language) in the public telephone network. Stake holders are invited to attend the session on Tuesday, June 21, at 14.00, ANRCETI office, 5 floor, Conference Room (134, Stefan cel Mare bd.).

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) of the Republic of Moldova and the National Regulatory for Administration and Regulation in Communication (ANCOM) from România signed a Memorandum of Understanding to facilitate cooperation and exchange of information in electronic communications. He was signed Tuesday, June 14, in Bucharest, by Sergiu Sitnic, director of ANRCETI and Marius Catalin Marinescu, President of ANCOM. The event took place during a working visit Mr. Sitnic made to the regulatory authority from Romania.

A delegation of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI - www.anrceti.md) headed by the Director, Sergiu Sitnic, is taking part, on June 9 - 10, in a regional workshop: „Implementation of Number Portability beyond EU Borders”, taking place in Barcelona, Spain. The workshop is organized by the European Commission in co-operation with the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Spain by means of TAIEX (Technical Assistance and Information Exchange instrument managed by the Directorate-General Enlargement of the European Commission - http://ec.europa.eu/enlargement/taiex).

The National regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information technology (ANRCETI – www.anrceti.md) designated JSC „Moldtelecom” as a provider with significant market power on one more relevant market – the one for end users’ access to the public telephone network at a fixed location. The Decision was approved in a public session of ANRCETI Administrative Board and published in the Official Gazette on June 3, 2011.

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI – www.anrceti.md) has placed on its Web site, for public consultations, three draft Administrative Board Decisions pertaining to access and use of 116(xxx) national short numbers of social character for the provision of services harmonized at European level: (1) on regulating the access to these numbers, (2) approval of the Procedure on assignment of these numbers and (3) approval of special license conditions (docs in state language) regarding the use of these numbers. The consultations will last through July1, this being the deadline for recommendations on the given draft documents.

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI – www.anrceti.md) has placed on its web page, for public consultations, the draft (doc. in state language) Administrative Board Decision on approving the Regulations on Provision of National Roaming Services in Mobile Terrestrial Networks. The deadline for recommendations on draft Decision is 13.06.2011.

The consultations will last through June 13, 2011, this being the deadline for recommendations.

The Administrative Board of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI - www.anrceti.md) is announcing a public session to review and approve the draft decision on the identification of the market for the access of end users (legal and natural persons) to the public telephone network at fixed locations and designation of JSC Moldtelecom as having significant market power on this market. The session is scheduled for Thursday, May 26, 14. 00 hours, in ANRCETI conference room - 134, bd. Stefan cel Mare, 5th floor.
