The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) placed on its website for public consultation draft analysis of market for traffic transit in public telephone networks (Market 9) and the draft ANRCETI Administrative Board Decision on preventive regulatory measures for this market. The deadline for submitting recommendations for the documents under consultation is November 23, 2016.

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) announces that starting from October 29, 2016 natural or legal persons, registered as entrepreneurs in Moldova, who intend to provide postal services, can enter the market by going through a simple procedure of notifying about the intention to provide postal services.

This week, the representatives of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI), for the first time, took part as observers in a meeting of the representatives of the regulatory authorities, members of the European Regulators Group for Postal Services (ERGP), held in Brussels. Previously, ERGP granted ANRCETI the status of observer.

At the invitation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Director of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI), Grigore Varanita is taking part in the Regional Broadband Investment Conference, hosted by EBRD in Athens, Greece, on October 20-21, 2016.

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) reminds electronic communications providers of their obligation to submit to ANRCETI, by October 20, 2016, the following information about quality of service parameters measured in the third quarter of 2016 for four types of services: fixed telephony, Internet access, mobile telephony and television. This is an obligation stipulated in Administrative Board Decision no. 278 of 17.11.2009 on establishing quality parameters for public electronic communications services, subsequently amended by Decision no. 68 of 12/11/2015.

A team of specialists from the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) took part on October 10-13, 2016 in the meetings of the two expert groups and in a workshop, organized by the EaP Regulators’ network (EaPeReg), held in Kiev, Ukraine.

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) announces that on October 7, 2016 – on the date of publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova, two Administrative Board Decisions entered in force: on approving the Methodology for allocation of production costs for reserved and non-reserved postal services and Methodology for setting tariffs for postal services within the scope of universal postal service. Both methodologies can be found on ANRCETI official website, Section Legislation / Administrative Board Decisions.

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) announced for Thursday, September 29, 2016, at 14:00, a public session for approval of three draft Administrative Board Decisions: the Methodology of production costs allocation for reserved and non-reserved postal services, the Methodology of tariff setting procedure for universal postal service and a draft decision on amending a number of previous Administrative Board Decisions. The meeting will take place at ANRCETI office (134, Stefan cel Mare bd., et. 5, Conference hall).

At the invitation of the National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications of Romania (ANCOM) from Romania, the Director of the National regulatory Agency for Electronic communications and information technology (ANRCETI), Grigore Varanița, took part on September 26, in the international conference organized by ANCOM, this year entitled “Riding the (RADIO) waves of change”. The event took place in Bucharest and was dedicated to a double anniversary – ANCOM celebrated 25 years of modern spectrum management and 150 years of membership to the International Telecommunication Union.
