The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) published on the official website www.anrceti.md the Guide on submitting notifications/applications for the issuance of permissive documents by ANRCETI (hereinafter – the Guide). The Guide is intended for providers operating in the field of electronic communications, as well as for natural and legal persons intending to run activities in this field.

The volume of revenues from electronic communications sector (mobile and fixed voice, mobile and fixed broadband, audiovisual broadcasting and other) decreased by 6.8% in the second quarter of this year, compared to the same period of last year, and was estimated at 1.4 billion lei, according to the Report on market evolution in the second quarter of 2020, published on the official website of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI).

According to statistical data, aggregated by the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI), the market for pay TV (via cable networks and IPTV), in the second quarter of 2020, there was a increase both in the total volume of sales and in the total of subscribers to these services. The volume of sales increased, compared to the similar period of 2019, by 4.4 million lei (10.8%) and reached 45.5 million lei, and the total number of subscribers increased, compared to the end of 2019, by 11.7 thousand (3.5%) and reached to 347.2 thousand.

According to the statistical data presented by the three mobile providers in the second quarter of this year, mobile broadband consumption increased, amid decreasing of the total number of users and the total volume of revenues generated by these services. Thus, the traffic generated by mobile broadband users (services 3G, 4G and dedicated access (via modems / routers)) increased by 46.2% and reached 35.5 million GB. Of the total traffic volume - 18.7 million GB (+ 53.8%) was generated by means of smartphones, and GB 16.8 million (+ 38.5%) via dedicated access.

Statistical data submitted to the National Agency for Regulation in Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) by mobile providers show that the volume of voice traffic generated by users during the second quarter 2020 increased, compared to the same period last year, by about 5,9% and reached 1.7 billion minutes.

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) announces public meeting for examination and approval of draft Board Decisions on ex-ante regulation of the markets for voice call termination in individual fixed and mobile networks (Market 3 and Market 7). The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) presents for public consultation the draft Board Decision on approving the Regulation on Management of Top-Level Domain .md (hereinafter - Regulation). The consultation will be running from July 10 to July 31, 2020 inclusively.

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) has placed today, July 8, on its official website for public consultation: 1) draft Administrative Board Decision on approving the Methodology of state control over entrepreneurial activity, based on the analysis of risks for the fields of activity assigned to the competence of ANRCETI and: 2) draft Board Decision on approving the verification checklists applicable for the fields assigned under ANRCETI control.

The statistical report on the evolution of the postal communications market in 2019, published today by the National Agency for Regulation in Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) on www.anrceti.md, shows that the revenues generated by postal services increased compared to 2018 by 11.1% and were estimated at about 403 million lei, while the total traffic of postal items increased by 7.6% and exceeded 62.3 million items.
