In connection with the emergency situation caused by the spread of COVID-19 virus, the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI), recommends that electronic communications and postal service providers make use, to the fullest extent possible, of remote ways of communication and interaction with customers, such as customer support services via phones, e-mail and other available means of remote communication.

ANRCETI ANNOUNCES PUBLIC CONSULTATION ON DRAFT DECISION FOR APPROVAL OF FORM TEMPLATE FOR DOCUMENTS RELATED TO POSTAL SERVICE PROVISION

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) sets out for public consultation the draft Administrative Board Decision for the approval of the Form templates for documents related to the activity of postal service provision. The consultations of the project will take last until March 6, 2020 inclusively.

ANRCETI ADOPTS MANDATORY DECISIONS ON ESTABLISHMENT AND PUBLICATION OF CONDITIONS FOR ACCESS ON PUBLIC PROPERTY

In accordance with the provisions of Art. 3 paragraph (4) of the Law on Access to Properties and Shared Use of Infrastructure Associated with Public Electronic Communications Networks no. 28 of March 10, 2016 (hereinafter Law no. 28/2016), ANRCETI is empowered to solve disputes between providers of public electronic communications networks and owners of public or private property, including physical infrastructure, to which access is requested for construction (installation), maintenance, dismantling, replacement, transfer or retooling of public electronic communications networks, in order to ensure free competition and to protect the users' interests.

ANRCETI INVITES POSTAL COMMUNICATIONS PROVIDERS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PILOT STUDY, ORGANIZED BY UPU

The National Agency for Regulation in Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) has been selected to participate in a pilot study, organized by the International Bureau of the Universal Postal Union (UPU). This study provides for access to the OSCAR tool for postal communications providers. The study is planned to take place in the timeframe January - April 2020.
