ANRCETI granted first license for 3G service provision

National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technologies (ANRCETI) issued, on Tuesday, August 26, 2008, to the first GSM operator in Moldova - JV „Orange - Moldova” JSC – the first license for the use of radio frequencies and channels for the provision of 3G cell mobile electronic communications services and networks. The license was handed in to Bruno Duthoit, Director of JV „Orange - Moldova” JSC, by Sergiu Sitnic, Director of ANRCETI.

In a meeting on August 08, 2008, the Licensing Commission of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technologies (ANRCETI), based on the provisions of legislative and normative acts in force and the invitation for mobile companies to submit the due applications, satisfied the application by JV "Orange-Moldova" JSC, requesting a license granting the right to use radio frequencies and channels for the provision of 3G cell mobile electronic communications services and networks within, the frequency blocks, in FDD regime-1935,3-

"ORANGE MOLDOVA" reported removing network derangements

Today, Company Orange Moldova reported to the National regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (NRAECIT) about removing networks derangements in Chisinau area, caused on July 31, from 13.30 to 22.50. It is the mobile operator’s response to the Agency’s inquiry, requiring immediate actions to restore the normal functioning of the networks.
