ANRCETI INVITES EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR FREE RADIO FREQUENCY LICENSE AUCTION FOR DIGITAL BROADCASTING MULTIPLEX IMPLEMENTATION

In accordance with the provisions of the Government Decision no. 878/2022 on establishment of available radio frequency spectrum resources for the implementation of digital broadcasting multiplexes, taking into account the limited number of licenses, based on article 26 paragraph (31) of the Law on Electronic Communications no. 241/2007, as amended, in order to ensure transparency and fairness in the allocation of available radio spectrum resources, ANRCETI requests interested individuals to express their intention to participate in the competition for the free issuance of radio frequency licenses, as included in Table 1 and Table 2

On March 28, the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) concluded a collaboration agreement with the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE). The document was signed by the Director of ANRCETI, Silvia BOJOGA, and the Director of ANRE, Violina ȘPAC.

MOLDOVA RANKS THIRD IN THE WORLD FOR THE CHEAPEST FIXED BROADBAND

Users of high-speed fixed internet services in our country benefit from the lowest prices in the world, according to a study by the UK-based platform Cable.co.uk. The study analyzed 3,703 broadband internet packages from 219 countries, in the timeframe between January 2, 2023, and March 1, 2023. Thus, Moldova ranks third among countries with cheap fixed broadband, having an average monthly subscription of $7.03, behind Sudan, which has a monthly subscription of - $2.3, and Kazakhstan, with $5.11.
