National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology of the Republic of Moldova

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) announces a public meeting for Friday, March 31, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., to examine and put up for approval two draft decisions:
regarding the modification of the ANRCETI Board of Directors' Decision no. 33/2021 on statistical data reporting by postal service providers;
for the modification of the Regulation on Management of Top-level Domain .md, approved by ANRCETI Board Decision no. 42/2020.

The first draft decision was publicly consulted in the timeframe February 10 - 24, 2023, and the second - February 3 - 24, 2023.

According to the Informative Note no. 1, the first draft document establishes the semi-annual presentation of a set of indicators regarding the postal services market situation, necessary for ANRCETI to monitor the evolution of this sector, as well as for the preparation and presentation of annual reports to the National Bureau of Statistics, an obligaton assigned to ANRCETI according to Government Decision no. 952/2022.

This draft document provides for the repeal of the Standardized Form of the Quarterly Statistical Report SP-1 "Postal Networks and Services," as well as the Instruction on how to complete this Form (Annexes 1 and 3 to Administrative Board Decision no. 33/2021. Additionally, the Standardized Form of the Annual Statistical Report SP-2 "Postal Services" will be renamed to Standardized Form of Semi-Annual Statistical Report SP "Postal Services," and the Instruction will be amended (Annexes 2 and 4 to Administrative Board Decision no. 33/2021).

Furthermore, ANRCETI proposes modification of the method for statistical data reporting, which will performed via the Information System for statistical reporting on the evolution of the postal services market. The recommendations received on this draft document are included in the Summary of Recommendations.

According to the Informative Note no. 2, this draft provides for the modification of the name of the Contract concluded between the National Registrar (I.P. "STISC") and Dealers, in order to clarify certain provisions of Regulation no. 42/2020. The recommendations received on this document are included in the Summary of Recommendations.
