National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology of the Republic of Moldova

On March 28, the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) concluded a collaboration agreement with the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE). The document was signed by the Director of ANRCETI, Silvia BOJOGA, and the Director of ANRE, Violina ȘPAC.

The document sets a framework for bilateral collaboration, efficient exchange of information of common interest and experience between the two parties, with the aim of promoting the development of the electronic communications and energy sectors.

ANRCETI Deputy Director, Silvia BOJOGA, mentioned that "as a result of signing thisagreement, ANRCETI and ANRE will have a much more intense collaboration. We are two regulatory authorities for very dynamic and strategic industries for the economy of the Republic of Moldova, and we believe it is absolutely necessary to join our efforts and revitalize our relations, making common efforts so that both industries can benefit greatly from this collaboration."

At the same time, ANRE Director, Violina ȘPAC, expressed thanks on behalf of the ANRE Board of Directors for this initiative. "This is the first collaboration agreement between ANRCETI and ANRE, and it is a timely step, as we have regulatory connections in the areas of competence. We hope that this collaboration will bring benefits, especially to users of electronic communications services and consumers of electricity, heat, and natural gas, by benefiting from fair tariffs."
