National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology of the Republic of Moldova

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology announces public consultations of two draft decisions:
1. Draft decision on the approval of the standard special license conditions for the use of radio frequencies/channels in the frequency bands 17.3-20.2 GHz and 27.5-30.0 GHz, for the purpose of providing geostationary/non-geostationary satellite communication networks and services for data transmissions.
2. Draft decision on the approval of the standard special license conditions for the use of radio frequencies/channels in the frequency bands 10.7-12.75 GHz and 14.0-14.5 GHz, for the purpose of providing geostationary satellite communication networks and services for data transmissions.

The consultation of the drafts will last until April 14, 2023.

Both projects have been developed to ensure the implementation of the Radio Frequency Spectrum Management Program for 2021-2025 and the minimum exposure values of generic frequency blocks for allocation through competitive selection procedure, approved by the Government Decision no. 987/2020.

The draft documents aim to develop geostationary and non-geostationary satellite communication services for data transmissions using the mentioned frequencies, as provided by Government Decision no. 987/2020, with subsequent amendments. Details about the publicly consulted draft documents are presented in Informative Notes no. 1 and no. 2.
