21.10.2014ANRCETI experts taking part in regional workshop on accounting separation On October 21-23, a group of experts from the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) is taking part in a workshop for the electronic communications regulators from Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries - Accounting Separation and Regulatory Audit. The workshop is taking place in Yerevan, Armenia. It is one of the workshops within the EC technical assistance project ”Network of electronic communications regulators from EaP countries” and it is organized by the implementing company PricewaterHouse Coopers Slovacia. The information is placed in a new section of the Users’ Page - Theme Guides and Frequently Asked Questions complete the same page. 10.09.2014Total Sales Volume in Electronic Communications Sector Grew 14,8% Second qtr. 2014 In April-June 2014, the total volume of revenues generated by electronic communications activities (mobile telephony, mobile broadband, fixed telephony, fixed broadband, broadcasting, other activities in this sector) increased over the same timeframe of last year by 14,8% up to 1 billion 742,7 million lei, as shown in the Report (doc. in state language) of the National Agency for Regulation of Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) about the evolution of the electronic communications market in second quarter of 2014, published on www.anrceti.md. 4.09.2014Joint Revenues of Fixed and Mobile Broadband Providers Increased Over 18% in First Half of 2014 Statistical data on the evolution of the market for fixed and mobile broadband in the first half of 2014 published today by ANRCETI show continuously increasing number of subscribers and revenues. The number of subscribers to mobile broadband (via modems and data cards) grew more than 16,6 thousand (+6,4%) and exceeded 276,2 thousand; the number of fixed broadband subscribers - 18,7 thousand (+4%) up to about 486 thousand. The total number of subscribers to these services increased by 35,5 thousand (+4,9%) up to 762,2 thousand, the turnover of these services - by 93,5 million lei (+18.4% ) and exceeded 601,6 million lei.
