Public consultations session announced by ANRCETI


The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) invites electronic communications network and service providers, other interested parties to a public consultation session to discuss draft Administrative Board Decision on identification of relevant electronic communications networks and/or service markets susceptible to ax-ante regulation.
The session is due Thursday, March 26, at 14.00 p.m. at ANRCETI location, 5th floor, Conference Room (134 Stefan cel Mare bd.).


Sergiu Sitnic: „Internet access and mobile markets expected to continue growing in 2009”


As estimated by the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI), the Internet access and mobile markets are expected to be further growing in 2009, Sergiu Sitnic, ANRCETI Director declared in today’s press conference ”Electronic Communications Market in 2008: Results and Perspectives”.


ITU organizes a Regional Human Capacity Development Forum for Europe and the CIS


The International Telecommunications Union will hold from 30 March to 2 April 2009 the ITU Regional Human Capacity Development Forum for Europe and the CIS in Budva, Montenegro.


Results of Cairo ICT Indicators Meeting


On March 3-5, 2009 the 7th World Telecommunication/ICT Indicators (WTI) Meeting took place in Cairo, Egypt, from. The Meeting was organized by the Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and hosted by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of the Government of Egypt. The meeting was open to all the membership and was primarily addressed to those responsible for ICT statistics in relevant Ministries, regulatory agencies, telecommunication operating companies and national statistical offices.


Interconnection regime expected to enhance competition on electronic communications market

Today, March 13, 2009, the Regulations on Interconnection has entered in force, having been approved by ANRCETI Administrative Board and published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova. The Regulations lays down the principles and procedure of interconnection between public electronic communications networks and services and of access to networks and associated facilities, including to the local loop.
