4.02.2011New Version of Regulations on General Authorization Regime and License Issuance for Use of Limited Resources Came into Effect Persons intending to run business on the market of public electronic communications networks and services will benefit from a simplified general authorization conditions, from an updated classified list of types of networks and services, simplified standard forms for notification and compilation of informative declaration. These are set by the new version of the Regulations on General Authorization Regime and License Issuance for the Use of Limited Resources, which came into force today, February 4th, being published in the Official Gazette. 3.02.2011ANRCETI suppots program of tariff adjustment for fixed telephone services of JSC „MOLDTELECOM” The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI - www.anrceti.md) considers that the Tariffs Adjustment Program for fixed telephony services, proposed by Moldtelecom to be implemented as of March 1, will eliminate the cross-subsidization of services provided by JSC Moldtelecom, which will boost the development of the fixed telephone market, enhance competition and attract new investments in the sector, factors which will bring long term benefits to end users. 25.01.2011ANRCETI signed collaboration agreement with association of private ICT companies Today, January 25, the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI – www.anrceti.md) and the Association of Private ICT Companies (ANCP) concluded a collaboration agreement to facilitate cooperation in the field of ICT. It was signed today by Sergiu Sitnic, ANRCETI Director, and Veaceslav Cunev, chairman of ANCP, in a meeting of representatives from both entities. 18.01.2011Increasing number of service users resort to ANRCETI’s assistance A report on public communication, by the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI – www.anrceti.md), shows that during 2010, ANRCETI provided replies to 590 appeals (compared to 569 – in 2009), from end users of electronic communications services. 14.01.2011Repeated Consultation of Draft Decision on Special Remedies for JSC „Moldtelecom” as Having Significant Market Power on Two Relevant Markets The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI – www.anrceti.md) has placed on its Web site, for repeated public consultations, draft Administrative Board Decision on imposing special ex-ante obligations on JSC “Moldtelecom” due to the company’s significant market power on the markets for wholesale access to network infrastructure at a fixed location (market 4) and on wholesale broadband access (market 5).
