ANRCETI Attending Meeting of Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC)

On November 5 - 6, Mr. Iurie Ursu, Deputy Director of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI), is taking part in a joint meeting of the Board of RCC Heads of Regional Administrations in the field of communications and the Coordination Council for Informatisation of the CIS member states members of RCC, an event taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan Republic.

ANRCETI established amount of regulatory and monitoring fee for 2013

The Administrative Board of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI - www.anrceti.md) established, through a Decision (doc. in state language), the amount of the regulatory and monitoring fee for 2013, as 0,27% of the revenue generated from electronic communications activities performed by electronic communications networks/service providers.

ANRCETI holding a seminar in Balti for providers of electronic communications networks/services from north of Moldova

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) is inviting providers of electronic communications networks and services from the North of Moldova to a seminar scheduled for November 1 in Balti (139, Decebal str., hotel "LIDO", Conference Hall), at 10.30 a.m.  This is the second seminar organized by ANRCETI this year for the purpose of a more efficient dialogue with the electronic communications providers.

ANRCETI set four more stages of tariff reduction for mobile and fixed call termination

From 1 January 2013, providers with significant power on the markets for mobile and fixed call termination in their individual networks are required to continue bringing down the tariffs for termination of local/national calls, originated from other networks. The tariffs will be reduced gradually, every semester (in four stages), so that on July 1, 2014, the tariffs become LRIC-Cost-based (Long-Run Incremental Cost). This obligation is prescribed in the Decisions (docs in state language) of ANRCETI Administrative Board, on modification and additions to its previous decisions of 23.12.2010 on imposing special preventive obligations on SMP providers on the markets for fixed/mobile call termination on individual networks.

ANRCETI Set Terms for Implementation of Fixed and Mobile Telephone Number Portability

Providers of public mobile and fixed networks and services, jointly with centralized database (CDB) administrator, shall ensure the launch of mobile number portability service on May 1, 2013 and the launch of fixed number portability – on July 31, 2013. These terms were set by the Administrative Board of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) in its decision (doc. in state language) approving the Action Plan for number portability implementation in R. Moldova.
