16.08.2013ANRCETI Celebrates 13th Anniversary On August 17, 2013 the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) celebrates its 13th anniversary. Throughout these years, due to market liberalization, the regulator has been acting to promote competition, meet the users' interests and enhance efficient investment in communications infrastructure. Since its establishment in 2000, ANRCETI fulfilled these objectives by taking actions and measures to remedy competition problems on the market, by launching new technologies, implementation of number portability, closing the national numbering plan, protecting the users’ interests. 16.08.2013ANRCETI issued decision to withdraw activity license of company “EVENTIS MOBILE” Today, the Administrative Board of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and information Technology (ANRCETI) issued a decision to withdraw the license of Joint Venture „Eventis Mobile” LLC for cell mobile telephony service provision GSM standard, in 900 MHz frequency band. 15.07.2013Newly-Appointed Director Introduced to ANRCETI Employees Today, July 15th, Deputy Prime Minister Valeriu Lazar, Minister of Economy, introduced the newly-appointed ANRCETI Director, Mr. Grigore Varanita, to ANRCETI staff. Grigore Varanita was appointed by Government Decision on July 10th, for a 4-year term of office. By the same Decision, the Government accepted the resignation of Mr. Sergiu Sîtnic, at his request.
