National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology of the Republic of Moldova

On August 17, 2013 the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) celebrates its 13th anniversary. Throughout these years, due to market liberalization, the regulator has been acting to promote competition, meet the users' interests and enhance efficient investment in communications infrastructure. Since its establishment in 2000, ANRCETI fulfilled these objectives by taking actions and measures to remedy competition problems on the market, by launching new technologies, implementation of number portability, closing the national numbering plan, protecting the users’ interests.

On this occasion – ANRCETI’s 13th anniversary – The Administrative Board is addressing congratulations to ANRCETI staff, partners, all those who worked for and continue to contribute to its proper performance.

Dear Colleagues!

During the 13 years of activity, ANRCETI paved its complex way facing problems and failures, as well as good results, with a positive impact on the electronic communications market development, which enabled the regulator to gain the necessary experience for the regulation of a specific sector, such as the ICT. Throughout this timeframe ANRCETI  proved to be able to meet the challenges of current times and find the most appropriate ways to take fair decisions that directly contributed to the development of the ICT sector and indirectly – to gaining a prestigious name both nationally and regionally.

The results have been obtained due to the entire ANRCETI team, its veterans, those who, 13 years ago, added to ANRCETI creation and launch of its activity. A special role in the ANRCETI’s growth and development was played by its partners and providers of electronic communications. We would like to convey to them our gratitude for their help and that we count on their full support and participation in the ANRCETI’s activities.
