2.04.2014Citizens Using Uncertified Wireless Handsets Risk Being Penalized Under Code of Contraventions The Ministry of Information Technology and Communications (MTIC) and the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) warns the public that the use of wireless handsets that are uncertified and non-compliant with the requirements of applicable technical regulations is prohibited and punishable under the Code Contraventions no. 218-XVI of 24.10.2008. The use of these devices affects the normal operation of public mobile networks and the quality of mobile services. Details |
24.03.2014Expert from Slovenia in a TAIEX Mission for ANRCETI In the timeframe March 24 - 28, 2014, a group of specialists from the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) are taking part, under TAIEX assistance, in a seminar on monitoring the compliance of providers with the electronic communications regulatory framework and harmonization of certain regulatory aspects with the EU requirements. The TAIEX Mission is funded by the European Commission and conducted by two experts from the regulator of Slovenia – Agency for Communications Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia (ACOS). 21.03.2014ANRCETI Published Number Portability Evaluation Report The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) assessed the progress and performance indicators in number portability implementation as being satisfactory and believes that the project objectives have been achieved. 14.03.2014ANRCETI CONCLUDED NEW COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH REGULATOR FROM BULGARIA The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) and the Communications Regulation Commission (CRC) from Bulgaria concluded a new Memorandum of Understanding regarding cooperation and exchange of information in electronic communications regulation.
