Consumers facing problems with electronic communications service provision can call ANRCETI by dialing 080080080

Users of fixed and mobile telephony, of Internet access and pay TV facing problems related to the provision and use of these services and unable to solve them with the providers concerned can call the "green line" of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) - 080080080, by which they will receive the needed advice and assistance.

By calling this number, consumers will also be able to submit suggestions and complaints with reference to service providers. The calls are free of charge from any parts of the country, on weekdays between 8.00 and 17.00.

As of April 3, all the calls to 080080080 are directed to the specialists of the Users Protection Service of ANRCETI. They will provide the callers with explanations, offering at the same time recommendations on how to solve the raised problems. The specialists will also give consumers information about their rights, obligations of service providers in relation to their clients, and, upon request, will record the complaints as required.

Previously, the reception and review of requests received by ANRCETI via the 080080080 line lasted longer. ANRCETI shortened and streamlined the procedure, giving consumers the opportunity to get answers to their questions the very day of calling.

The new format of ANRCETI communication with consumers is one of the elements of the information campaign "Know your rights as a consumer of electronic communications services", launched by the regulator in February. By conducting this campaign, ANRCETI wishes to raise the consumers’ awareness in terms of their rights and know what actions to take when facing issues related to the provision and use of electronic communications services.
