High speed Internet can develop faster

Regulations on Control Procedure in Electronic Communications entered in force

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI), in its control activity, will be guided by the new Regulations on control procedure in electronic communications, published in the "Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova" on September 12, 2008.

Company MOLDCELL was granted license for 3G service provision

On Thursday, September 11, the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) granted to GSM mobile company MOLDCELL a license for the use of radio frequencies for the provision of 3G cell mobile electronic communications networks and services. The license was handed in to the technical Director of the company, Mustafa Donbaloglu, by ANRCETI Director, Mr. Ion Pochin.

Mobile telephony strengthens market position

The turnover in mobile sector increased, in the first semester of this year, as compared to the same period of time last year, by 27,49% and reached 1 billion 375,7 million lei, whereas sales in fixed telephony reduced by 1,57% and came up to 1 billion 114,9 thousand lei.
