ANRCETI starts public consultations on new Board decision

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI – www.anrceti.md) has placed on its Internet page, for public consultations, the draft Administrative Board decision, on Regulating Access to electronic communications services provided via access codes 1600-1639. The consultation is planned to last for 15 calendar days. Comments and recommendations are welcome through the deadline - December 16.

Mobile market has strengthened positions in third quarter of 2009

Within 9 months of 2009, the volume of sales on mobile market increased, compared to the same timeframe of 2008, by 3,24% and were estimated at 2 billion 202,77 mil. lei, as shown in the data available with the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI).

Number of Internet subscribers growing fast

In the timeframe January – September 2009, the number of broadband Internet subscribers at fixed locations increased by 43,5% and was estimated at 165,2 thousand, whereas the number of customers using mobile broadband Internet (monthly traffic less than 1 MB) reached 62 thousand, as shown in the data available with the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI).
