The management of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) is taking part in the Plenary Meeting of the Eastern Partnership Electronic Communications Regulators Network. The event takes place in Prague, Czech Republic.
The Plenary Meeting is attended by the representatives of the regulatory authorities - members of EaPeReg Network, the Body of European Regulators of electronic communications (BEREC), the Group of Regulators from Euro-Mediterranean countries (EMERG), representatives of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), experts of the REWG (Roaming Expert Working Group), SEWG (Spectrum Expert Working Group), IRB EWG (Independence of Regulators and Broadband Expert Working Group), etc.
The Agenda of the Plenary Meeting of EaPeReg includes the presentation of EaPeReg activity report for 2022, by the representative of the regulatory authority of Armenia, who is EaPeReg Chair in 2022, and the representative of the Telecommunications Office of the Czech Republic, in the position of EaPeReg Vice-Chair, the election of EaPeReg leadership for 2023 and the presentation of EaPeReg activity plan for the next year. The Chairs of EaPeReg expert working groups REWG, SEWG, IRB EWG will also report to the Plenary on their activity during the year.
The EaPeReg Network was created in 2012, in Chisinau, at a meeting of the Heads of electronic communications regulators from EaP countries. This year the Network celebrates its first decade of activity. On this occasion, Ms. Silvia Bojoga, ANRCETI Deputy Director, in her speech during the 10th anniversary celebration, pointed out that "EaPeReg is a "well-designed bridge", intended to pave the way to a single digital market between The European Union and the EaP countries, through the financial support of the European Commission and by common effort of EaPeReg Members, EU Advisors and EU4Digital experts”, and wished success to the Network and all its partners.
