The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) updated the application “Mobile Coverage Map_ Quality Parameters” (https://harta.anrceti.md/#/home) with new data based on measurements taken on 35 national roads and in the built-up areas of 45 urban localities, in the timeframe January - September 2022 by the National Radio Frequency Management Service (SNMFR).
The Map is a platform developed exclusively by ANRCETI, which provides users with real data about mobile coverage and quality of services offered by mobile communication providers Orange Moldova, Moldcell and Moldtelecom, as resulted from the measurements made by SNMFR.
Using the map is easy: to view the coverage on a national road or location level, users need to select a single provider and choose one or more technologies (2G, 3G, or 4G). Users interested in the signal level in a particular location need to select the location of interest in the respective tab in the title bar. The "Coverage" section provides users with an appreciation of the average level of mobile signal measured per selected road or location, displaying each measured point, the coverage rate (%) per road and location, the total number of points measured on the selected road and location, and the measurement campaigns' period - 2019, 2020, 2021, or 2022. Additionally, the map allows users to view quality indicators separately by roads and locations, with the option of viewing them on the map, according to measurements carried out between 2019-2022.
Also, at the end of 2022, the "Statistics" section was redesigned to optimize the graphical editing and representation of some statistical data.
