National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology of the Republic of Moldova

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) informs the providers of publicly available electronic communications services (Internet access services) about the approval, by ANRCETI Administrative Board, of Decision no. 3 of February 25, 2022 for enforcement of Order of the Commission for Exceptional Situations of the Republic of Moldova no. 1 of February 24, 2022.

In accordance with the mentioned decision, during the state of emergency, providers shall ensure the fulfillment of the provisions of section 26 of the Order of the Government of the Republic of Moldova no. 1 of February 24, 2022, by blocking the access of their users to online content sources that promote fake news, which affect national security. The list of sources is published and updated by the Intelligence and Security Service on its official website (https://sis.md/ro/comunicare/comunicate) .

Providers of publicly available electronic communications services with an essential number of subscribers to Internet access services, listed in the Annex to the Decision, have the obligation, during the state of emergency, to report to ANRCETI on the measures applied, on weekly basis, every Tuesday , to the e-mail address denis.sitari@anrceti.md.
