National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology of the Republic of Moldova

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) informs providers of publicly available electronic communications networks and services that the Security and Intelligence Service (SIS) established, by Order No. 72 of October 24, 2023, the list of online sources that are promoting distortion of publicly disseminated content, originated from public authorities of the country involved in a military conflict and recognized as an aggressor.

According to the provisions of Decision No. 01/2022 of the Commission for Exceptional Situations of the Republic of Moldova, electronic communications network and service providers, at ANRCETI decision, have the obligation to immediately block the access for users in the Republic of Moldova to online sources included in the SIS order.

The list of sources promoting fake news that affect the national security of the country is published by the Security and Intelligence Service (SIS). ANRCETI advises electronic communications network and service providers to regularly monitor the SIS website at https://sis.md for updates to the list of those sources and to fulfill the instructions.
