Today, on November 17, Sergiu Gaibu, Director of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI), and João Cadete de Matos, Chairman of the National Communications Authority (ANACOM) of Portugal, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at developing and enhancing bilateral relations. The document was signed during a working visit of João Cadete de Matos and Ilda Matos, ANACOM's Director of Communication, to ANRCETI.
The objective of the Memorandum of Cooperation is to establish a flexible framework for technical and institutional cooperation in matters related to the regulation and development of the electronic communications and postal sectors.
The document outlines the areas and activities of cooperation, focusing on participation in international forums, exchange of information and mutual experience within the scope of common competencies of parties, official level meetings, and expert missions organized based on the interests of both authorities.
This Memorandum of Cooperation represents a significant step towards the development of the electronic communications and postal sectors, and we are confident that the partnership established today with ANACOM will be strong and beneficial for both regulators.
