National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology of the Republic of Moldova

In accordance with the provisions of Decision no. 878/2022 of the Government of the Republic of Moldova regarding the allocation of radio frequency spectrum resources available for the implementation of digital broadcasting multiplexes, taking into account the limited number of licenses, on basis of Article 26 of Law on Electronic Communications no. 241/2007, ANRCETI Administrative Board, on 16.06.2023, approved Decision no. 53 on the limitation of the number of licenses for the use of radio frequencies/channels in the frequency band [174-230 MHz] for the provision of electronic communications networks and services in the terrestrial digital broadcasting (T-DAB+) system, of national multiplexes: DAB+ A and DAB+ B, as well as Decision no. 54 on approving the Special License Conditions for the use of radio frequencies/channels in the frequency band [174-230 MHz] for the provision of publicly available electronic communications networks and services in the terrestrial digital broadcasting (T-DAB+) system, of national/regional multiplexes: DAB+ A and DAB+ B. In order to auction the radio spectrum resources in the frequency band [174-230 MHz] available for allocation, ANRCETI repeatedly requests interested parties to express their intent to participate in the auction for the free issuance of radio frequency licenses included in Table 1 and Table 2.

The radio spectrum resources for the provision of the national T-DAB+ A multiplex, as specified in Table 1, can be used, depending on demand, as a national multiplex or as 6 separate regional terrestrial digital broadcasting multiplexes.

The radio spectrum resources for the provision of the national T-DAB+ B multiplex, as specified in Table 2, can be used as a national terrestrial digital broadcasting multiplex.

T-DAB - Terrestrial Digital Audio Broadcasting. The decision and schedule for the auction of radio frequencies available according to Tables 1 and 2 will be prepared based on the market demand, identified as a result of consultations and dialogues with all interested parties.
