According to the statistical data presented to ANRCETI by the three providers of mobile communications networks and services (Orange Moldova, Moldcell and Moldtelecom), the total number of users who accessed mobile broadband increased, compared to the end of 2021, by 8,7% and was estimated at over 2.9 million, whereas the number of data-only broadband users decreased by 11.6% and totaled 129.8 thousand; and the number of M2M users increased by 8.5% up to 56.5 thousand. Consequently, the average monthly revenue per user (ARPU) for mobile broadband decreased by 3.2% and showed 37.8 lei.

At the end of the reporting period, the market shares of the three providers of mobile broadband services, by revenues, were as follows: Orange Moldova - 58.5%, Moldcell – 37 % and Moldtelecom – 4.5%.
