The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology has completed the creation of an online application for comparison of mobile service offers https://comparator.anrceti.md, in order to provide users with an independent, fair and non-commercial tool to assists them in selecting the best offer of mobile services for their needs.
The comparator is of an exclusively informative nature and helps users to make well-informed decisions in the mobile communications market, giving them the opportunity to compare the existing mobile and Internet offers before choosing a particular provider or a particular offer.
Based on the selection criteria introduced by the users, the Comparator performs comparative analyses of the sample offers of provision of mobile voice and mobile Internet services existing on the market, providing their Ranking in terms of price and other components of the offers. The system sorts out the list of selected offers, strictly in ascending order in terms of price for each offer. Based on the information obtained in this way, users or potential users can make an informed choice, both as regards the provider and a certain range of services.
Also, the application does not take into account the negotiated/personalized offers, but only the public offers for mobile voice and mobile Internet services, published on the official pages of the providers “Orange Moldova” “Moldcell” and Moldtelecom.
Although the price is essential in choosing an offer, ANRCETI recommends users not to ignore the other important elements of the commercial offers presented, such as: bonuses applied, Internet traffic and minutes included, information about possible promotions, other benefits, penalties in case of termination, etc. .
The online application for comparing mobile communications offers is implemented by ANRCETI in the context of promoting and protecting the interests of users, by ensuring the possibility to choose services, prices and quality, as well as to make independent assessments of the costs for alternative services.
