National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology of the Republic of Moldova

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) has placed on its Internet page, for public consultations, the draft (doc. in state language) Administrative Board Decision on amending the Procedure for transfer of licenses for the use of limited resources in the provision of electronic communications networks/services (hereinafter Procedure), approved by ANRCETI Board Decision no.08 of February 25, 2010. The deadline for submitting recommendations on this document is June 22, 2012.

The need to amend this Procedure was conditioned by the fact that a number of unclear provisions had been found in the document.

The Explanatory note (doc. in state language) specifies that the draft document establishes the types of numbering resources and the tranches of numbers that can be transferred. Also, it is proposed that the transfer of limited resources be made, as a rule, only in case of network transfer, whereas the notification confirming that no distortion of competition occurs, issued by the competition authority, be requested only in case of transfer of licenses for the use of radio frequencies or channels.
