On April 29 - 30, a delegation of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI - www.anrceti.md) attended, the V Conference of regulatory authorities of Black Sea and Caspian countries “Future Broadband”, in Istanbul, Turkey. The conference was organized by the Information Technologies and Communications Authority from Turkey (www.btk.gov.tr), the party that invited ANRCETI to participate.
The conference was also attended by officials from the International Telecommunication Union, representatives of regulatory authorities from Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Greece, Jordan, Iran, Lithuania and the Kyrgyz Republic.
The participants discussed, among other issues, the future of broadband Internet from regulatory and industry perspectives, Internet, software and cyber security, IT business practices in Turkey.
ANRCETI delegation representatives believe that the Istanbul meeting is a good platform for discussion and exchange of experience on the issues of the conference agenda, which are also up-to-date for the regulatory authority in Moldova.
