National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology of the Republic of Moldova

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) informs electronic communications providers about the launch of the Negative Register of Active Debtors - the first European system to identify debtors, which provides services aimed at preventing and reducing business risks and providing the possibility of debt recovery without additional costs or efforts.

This Register was launched in November 2014 and is managed by company INFODEBIT, part of the European Group Julianus INKASSO. INFODEBIT is specialized in management, processing and dissemination of information on debts through the Negative Register of Active Debtors. Currently over 100,000 active debtors are included in this register. More information about the services offered by this company is available on its website: www.infodebit.md.

According to data provided by company INFODEBIT, such registers are operated in over 20 EU countries. The efficiency of debt collection via the Register exceeds 40%.

The activity of the register is governed by Directive 95/46/EC of 24.10.1995 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and Law no. 133 of 08.07.2011 on Personal Data Protection.
