On November 24, the Deputy Director of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI), Marian Pocaznoi, introduced the new ANRCETI Deputy Director, Andrei Muntean, at a staff meeting. He was appointed to this position by Government Decision no. 991 of 21.11.2017 for a period of four-year term of office.
Andrei Muntean has Bachelor's Degree in Law from the State University of Moldova, which he graduated in 1999. The same year he began his professional activity at the Ministry of Justice, after which all these years he worked in the electronic communications sector. He holds the title of Master in Information Technology and Communications.
Marian Pocaznoi wished Andrei Muntean success in the new position, emphasizing that his experience and professionalism will be very useful for the efficiency of ANRCETI's activity.
At the meeting, Marian Pocaznoi thanked ANRCETI's former Deputy Director, Corneliu Jaloba, for his work and contribution to the regulatory process and proper functioning of the sectors under the institution's competence, and wished him new accomplishments in his professional career. According to the Law on Electronic Communications, the Director and Deputy Directors of ANRCETI are appointed by the Government for a four-year mandate. Corneliu Jaloba, who had been ANRCETI Deputy Director (November 13, 2013 - November 21, 2017), was dismissed by Government Decision no. 990 of 21.11.2017 upon termination of his mandate.
