National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology of the Republic of Moldova

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) published on its website for public consultation the draft (.pdf) Administrative Board Decision approving the Instruction on Regulatory and Monitoring Fees for the field of postal communications. The consultation will last through July 8, 2016, which is the deadline for submitting recommendations on the document.

The project aims at establishing a clear and simple way to ensure the compliance of postal services providers with the payment of regulatory and monitoring fees, as provided by Article 36 (3) and (4) of Law on Postal Communications No. 36 of March 17, 2016.

According to the Explanatory Note, drafting separate Instructions from the similar ones in electronic communications (approved by ANRCETI Administrative Board Decision No. 17 of 2 June 2010) is necessary because of significant differences between the two sectors in terms of reporting and payment of regulatory and monitoring fees, such as the reporting deadline, the revenue liable to payment of regulatory and monitoring fee, payment period, etc.
