National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology of the Republic of Moldova

In accordance with Decision no. 78/2020 of the Government of the Republic of Moldova regarding the implementation of actions to finalize the transition process to terrestrial digital television, ANRCETI put up for the auction organized in the timeframe September 26 - October 3, 2022, 18 licenses to use radio frequencies/channels in the frequency band [470-694 MHz], for the provision of public networks with regional coverage and publicly available electronic communications services in the digital terrestrial television system (regional multiplexes) in the Republic of Moldova.

As a result of the auction, ANRCETI issued 7 licenses for the creation of regional multiplexes: one license to LLC "Pro Media" for multiplex R17/channel 43 allocation in Cimislia and 6 licenses to SC "Canal Regional" LLC for the following multiplexes: R1/channel 47 allocation in Balti (Mandresti area); R3/channel 47 allocation in Cahul - Comrat; R5/channel 7 allocation in Causeni; R7/channel 23 allocation in Chisinau; R10/channel 23 allocation in Edinet; and R11/channel 41 allocation in Floresti.

In order to determine the need for a repeated auction, based on a comparative selection procedure, for the available radio spectrum resources in the frequency band [470-694 MHz] (11 licenses), ANRCETI requests interested parties to express their intent to participate in the auctionfor the free issuance of radio channel licenses as follows in the table below:

The special license conditions for the use of radio frequencies/channels in the frequency band [470-694 MHz], as well as the Procedure for auction organization, approved by ANRCETI Administrative Board Decisions no. 38/2022 and no. 39/2022, are available on ANRCETI official website at the following link: https://www.anrceti.md/fileupload/17?page=2.

The decision and schedule for auctioning the available radio frequency channels will be prepared based on market demand, identified as a result of consultations and dialogues with all interested parties.
