Chiril Gaburici wished the new Director success in his professional activity, mentioning that he relies on his responsibility and professionalism. "I insist on a constructive collaboration between the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure and ANRCETI, because the IT sector is becoming more and more attractive to investors and is has grown 9% since last year, while its share in the GDP reaches 6,6% and is continually increasing. Together, we need to focus on three directives, namely the telephone interconnection with Transnistria, the quality of electronic communications services on Moldova’s market and the accessibility of roaming tariffs for citizens" Cyril Gaburici pointed out.
In his turn, Octavian Rău thanked the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure for placing his trust on his abilities, underlining that he fully relies on the support of his colleagues. "I assure you that jointly with the team we will make every effort to generate added value to the Agency we represent and will work in the public interest by improving the quality of services for the citizens", the ANRCETI director said.
The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) is the central public authority regulating the activity in electronic communications, information technology and postal communications sectors, ensures the implementation of the development strategies for those sectors and supervises the observance of the relevant legislation by the electronic communications and postal service providers.
