A team of specialists from the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI – www.anrceti.md) headed by Iurie Ursu, Deputy Director of ANRCETI, is taking part, September 15 to 17th, at a regional seminar in Odessa, Ukraine. The seminar is organized by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).
The seminar agenda includes a number of current issues on pricing policy and interconnection of networks, focused on the following topics:
- Methods and problems of determining costs for network interconnection services;
- Regulation of network interconnection;
- Charging new telecommunications services;
- Perspective of tariff policy development and interconnection of telecommunications networks.
ANRCETI representatives will make a presentation of the national regulatory practices in terms of network and service interconnection.

The International Telecommunications Union is a specialized Agency of the United Nations Organization, promoting communications development and standardization policies and having as members 192 countries of the world, over 700 communications companies, standard-developing organizations and financial institutions. The Republic of Moldova joined the ITU in October 1992.
