January 20 - Deadline for Presentation of 2016 Revenue Reports by Postal Service Providers

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) informs the postal service providers that they are required to present to ANRCETI, before January 20, 2017, their reports on revenues from postal service provision in 2016. This is an obligation based on Law No. 36 of 03.17.2016 on postal communication and provided by the ANRCETI Administrative Board Decision no. 16 of 21.07.2016 on the approving the Instruction on regulatory and monitoring fee payment.

According to the instruction, postal service providers have to present to ANRCETI annually, before January 20, the Report on the revenues derived from the provision of postal services for the previous year (reporting year) by completing the standard form, available in the Annex to the instruction.

The standard form can be downloaded from ANRCETI web site, Providers’ page, Forms section, need to be filled out and sent to ANRCETI to the e-mail address: plata.reglementare@anrceti.md or by fax 022 222- 885. Subsequently, providers will present the original form by one of the following methods: by submitting it personally or by a representative to ANRCETI office: room 403, 134, Stefan cel Mare bd, mun. Chisinau, MD-2012, under signature, or by registered postal service with confirmation of delivery.

Based on the reports, ANRCETI will calculate the amount of regulatory and monitoring fees and submit to due invoices, based on which providers will transfer the payments to ANRCETI account, before January 25, 2017.

The amount of regulatory and monitoring fees in postal communications for 2017 was established by ANRCETI Administrative Board Decision no. 22 of 09/16/2016, as 0,1% of revenues derived from the provision of postal services in 2016.
