The official Web page of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI – www.anrceti.md) won a diploma of merit „For the best site of a Central Public Administration Authority” in the national competition of Web sites WEBTOP, VIIIth edition. The winners were designated last week. It was the first time that ANRCETI took part in this competition, within the category for public authorities, having 25 public authorities as competitors.
The sites admitted to this category of the competition were assessed according to the criteria of compliance with the requirements of the Government Decree No. 668 of 19.06.2006 on official Internet pages of public administration authorities, contents (information presentation, style and grammar, contents reliability and timeliness, veracity and relevance, language versions), style and design, as well as functional criteria.
Within this category, similar diplomas were awarded to the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications www.mtic.gov.md and autonomous territorial unit Gagauzia www.gagauzia.md. The official Web pages of the Ministry of External Affairs And European integration www.mfa.gov.md and of the National Statistical Bureau www.statistica.md were awarded II-grade prizes.
The eighth edition of the national competition of sites WebTop (www.webtop.md) took place in the timeframe January 27 - March 30, 2010. The competition comprised 11 categories, including public authorities, business, entertainment / virtual communities, education and science, art and culture, media, health and sports, personal websites / blogs, civil society, web design and promotes Moldova. The competition had 222 participants. It was organized by the National Association of Private Companies in the field of Information and Communication Technology, supported by UNDP Program and Soros Foundation of Moldova.
The current site www.anrceti.md possesses was launched in December 2008. It is a comprehensive informatics system ensuring access to multiple services, data bases and other useful information sources. The site is an 12-section structure, every one of which comprising multiple sub-sections, reflecting practically all the aspects of the Agency’s activity and the evolution of the electronic communications market.
The statistics of access to the Agency site for 2009 shows 38.2% increase in the number of its new visitors. Monthly, the electronic page is accessed on average by 7.5 thousand visitors, of which 3.4 thousand are new. An average 22 thousand page views are recorded every month.
