National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology of the Republic of Moldova

The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI), on the website www.anrceti.md, launched for public consultation the draft Administrative Board Decisions to modify the Special Preventive Obligations imposed on fixed and mobile voice network providers on the markets of voice call termination in fixed and mobile networks.

The consultation will last through March 21, 2022, which is the deadline for submitting recommendations on the proposed documents.

According to the Information Note, the draft documents submitted for public consultation were developed based on art. 6 para. (2) of the Law on Electronic Communications no. 241/2007, in order to implement the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of Romania on reduction of tariffs for the provision of international roaming services and international calls between the two countries, signed in Chisinau on February 11, 2022, approved by Government Decision no. 103/2022.
