ANRCETI informs the providers of electronic communications networks and services that on 01.02.2023, the new National Numbering Plan (NNP), approved by Order of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development no. 5 of January 12, 2023, was published.

According to data reported to the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) by mobile voice providers, the number of fraudulent calls increased considerably in 2022. Whereas in 2021 providers registered a total number of 1,404,864 fraudulent calls received by end users, the number was estimated at 2,247,484 calls in 2022, which is increased by 842,620 (60%).

In 2022, the number of mobile and fixed telephone numbers ported to other networks increased, compared to 2021, by 4,662 numbers, reaching a total of 91,075 numbers, according to the data processed by the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) about the evolution of phone number portability. Of the total ported numbers, 90,422 were mobile phone numbers, and 653 - fixed phone numbers. An average of 7589 numbers were ported monthly during last year, increased by 388 numbers

In 2022, the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI), in its role of a body empowered to ascertain contraventions in the fields of its competence, sanctioned 46 natural and legal persons for committing contraventions, according to the provisions of the Contravention Code of the Republic of Moldova no. 218/2008 (Code no. 218/2008).
