The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) announces public consultation of two draft Administrative Board Decisions, presented on its official website www.anrceti.md:
1. Draft Decision on approval of the standard Special Conditions of the License for the use of radio frequencies/channels in the 10.7-12.75 GHz and 14.0-14.5 GHz bands for the purpose of providing communications networks and services via satellite communications stations for data transmission;

According to statistics on the evolution of the mobile voice market, in the first quarter of 2022, the total volume of revenues of mobile communications providers increased by 4.5% compared to the same period last year, and were estimated at 724.2 million lei, while the total number of users increased by 2.3%, during 3 months, and reached over 4.8 million. At the same time, the total volume of voice traffic decreased by 1.7%, compared to the first quarter of last year, showing over 1.6 billion minutes.

According to the Statistical Report on the evolution of the postal communications market in 2021, published by the National Agency for Regulation in Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) on www.anrceti.md, the value of the postal service market increased compared to 2020, by 11.7% and was estimated at 395 million 774.7 thousand lei.

The highest growth rate - 25.8%, was reported for mail advertising revenues, which reached 836.8 thousand lei and correspondence items (+ 14.9%), reached 164 million 700,6 thousand lei. Revenues from express items increased by 7.4%, estimated at 125 million 413.8 thousand lei, and revenues from parcels increased by 4.5%, to a total of 80 million 259.2 thousand lei. Revenues from other postal services increased by 46.4% up to 24 million 564.3 thousand lei.

1. Draft Decision for modification of the Annex to the Administrative Board Decisions no. 34/2011 on approval of the Regulation on Number Portability;
2. Draft Decision for modification of some previous Board Decisions.

The statistical yearbook on the development of electronic communications in 2021, published on the official website of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) www.anrceti.md, shows that the electronic communications market, after a five-year recession, underwent a slight increase of 2.9%, compared to 2020, and totaled 6 billion 112 million lei. This is due to the increase of revenues on the mobile broadband market, by 6%, reaching 1 billion 281.4 million lei, revenues on fixed broadband market, by 4.1%, making up 1 billion 440.3 million lei, revenues from audiovisual broadcasting market, by 24.9%, totaling 353.9 million lei and revenues from other electronic communications activities, by 25.4% , totaling 896.6 million lei.

In 2021, the market for fixed broadband services continued to grow. Statistical data, processed by ANRCETI, show that during this period the total number of subscribers to these services increased by 6% compared to 2020 and was estimated at 762.3 thousand, the total volume of revenues obtained on this market increased by 4.1%, to a total of over 1.44 billion lei.

In 2021, the total number of users who accessed 4G mobile Internet increased by 21% compared to 2020, and reached over 1 million 998 thousand users. Over 1 million 911 thousand (95%) of these accessed mobile Internet via smartphones, and 86.9 thousand used dedicated mobile Internet (via modems/cards). At the same time, the data of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) on the evolution of this market in 2021 show that the total number of mobile broadband Internet users (3G, 4G and dedicated access technologies) increased by 13.4% and totaled 2 million 689 thousand, and the number of those who accessed only dedicated mobile Internet decreased by 24.5% and showed about 147 thousand.

Statistical data on the evolution of the fixed voice market in 2021, aggregated by the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI), show that the market value decreased, compared to 2020, by 12% and equaled 333.9 million lei. The decrease was due to the drop in the number of subscribers and the voice traffic in the fixed voice networks. In one year, the number of subscribers reduced by 2.7% and was estimated at over 1 million, and the total traffic volume reduced by 15.3% and reached 972 million minutes.
