ANRCETI hereby notifies providers of publicly accessible electronic communications services that the Public Service Agency, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 291 of 16.12.2016 on Organization and Conduct of Gambling (Law No. 291/2016), updated the list of websites/platforms/applications prohibited within the territory of the Republic of Moldova.

In accordance with Decision no. 78/2020 of the Government of the Republic of Moldova regarding the implementation of actions to finalize the transition process to terrestrial digital television, ANRCETI put up for the auction organized in the timeframe September 26 - October 3, 2022, 18 licenses to use radio frequencies/channels in the frequency band [470-694 MHz], for the provision of public networks with regional coverage and publicly available electronic communications services in the digital terrestrial television system (regional multiplexes) in the Republic of Moldova.

In accordance with the provisions of Decision no. 878/2022 of the Government of the Republic of Moldova regarding the allocation of radio frequency spectrum resources available for the implementation of digital broadcasting multiplexes, taking into account the limited number of licenses, on basis of Article 26 of Law on Electronic Communications no. 241/2007, ANRCETI Administrative Board, on 16.06.2023, approved Decision no. 53 on the limitation of the number of licenses for the use of radio frequencies/channels in the frequency band [174-230 MHz] for the provision of electronic communications networks and services in the terrestrial digital broadcasting (T-DAB+) system, of national multiplexes: DAB+ A and DAB+ B, as well as Decision no. 54 on approving the Special License Conditions for the use of radio frequencies/channels in the frequency band [174-230 MHz]

On June 12, a delegation of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI), headed by Director Sergiu Gaibu, visited the National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM) in Romania. The visit took place within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two regulatory authorities in 2011 and was aimed to strengthen bilateral cooperation and promote common interests of the two regulators.
