Public consultations on draft universal service regulations under way


The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI – displayed on the web page, for public consultations, the draft Universal Service Regulations. The document is provided with an explanatory note and presents the analysis of the impact on the activity of electronic communications market players. Report on activity and the developments on electronic communications market in 2008 made publicly available by ANRCETI


The National Regulatory Agency in Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) focused its activity on the implementation of the new Law on Electronic Communications, on the development and adoption of regulatory acts targeted at facilitating market entry, ensuring optimal conditions for the activity of all „market players” and enhancing competition for the benefit of end-users, shows the ANRCETI Report on Activity and Developments of Electronic Communications Market in 2008.


ANRCETI warned other six companies against non-compliance with rules for use of numbering resources


The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI – warned companies „Sun Communications”, „Bastina Radog”, „Eurostock”, „Voix Group”, „Tehnobridge M” and „Alit” against non-compliance with the rules of numbering resource use, set forth in the Regulations on Numbering plan Administration and Management.


Republic of Moldova among the first in CIS in terms of electronic communications regulation


The Republic of Moldova is the first among CIS countries to have included the EU electronic communications regulatory framework in its national legislation and to be applying the general authorization regime that has simplified market entry, shows the study „COMPARATIVE ASSESSMENT of TELECOMMUNICATIONS SECTOR in TRANSITION ECONOMIES”, conducted by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in May – December 2008 and made publicly available in March 2009.


Public consultations session announced by ANRCETI


The National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) invites electronic communications network and service providers, other interested parties to a public consultation session to discuss draft Administrative Board Decision on identification of relevant electronic communications networks and/or service markets susceptible to ax-ante regulation.
The session is due Thursday, March 26, at 14.00 p.m. at ANRCETI location, 5th floor, Conference Room (134 Stefan cel Mare bd.).
